NCGrowth Partners with CPNI to Conduct Built Asset Assistance Workshops

The Construction Professional Network Institute (CPNI) and NCGrowth held two Built Asset Assistance Workshops in the fall of 2018, in Robbins and Murfreesboro, NC. These workshops provide coaching to small towns in North Carolina on how to leverage built assets for economic development.
CPNI assembles a volunteer team of construction industry professionals with a wide range of skill sets including design, engineering, general contracting and planning. NCGrowth provides research and technical support to the two-day workshops.
Team members met with town officials and community stakeholders to assess opportunity sites and overall economic conditions. In addition to touring buildings and land of interest, workshop participants identified key issues areas and brainstormed potential strategies for the towns moving forward. Each town was provided with a comprehensive report documenting the workshop proceedings and findings.
