Cain Colon

Cain Colon is currently attending the Executive MBA Program at UNC Chapel-Hill and is expected to graduate in 2022.
Originally from New York City, Cain attended the City University of New York and then transferred over to Saint Peters University to study Business Management and Social Sciences. Cain had the opportunity to work and volunteer for many organizations throughout the city that promoted income, race, and gender equality. Cain is currently serving active duty in the US Army, carefully selected for a Civil Affairs team within the Special Operations Community.
Within that community, Cain had the opportunity to learn French and many other skills, that helped him with his missions throughout Africa. A recent project he worked on was a UN Humanitarian mission in Somalia, where he was able to coordinate with other local agencies to promote economic stabilization within that region.
With completing the MBA program in 2022, Cain’s near-sighted goal is to pursue a career as a special agent within the FBI specializing in analytics of socio-economic behavior. Coming from a single parented household, Cain hopes to help marginalized communities and families by analyzing some of the chronic behaviors within those communities while using those analytics to navigate through a system that needs help.
Cain is an avid sports fan, with a deep love for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brooklyn Nets, and the New York Mets. On his spare time, Cain likes to go to the gym, hang out with his family, and practice his French whenever possible.
