Liz Love

KIEDA

Liz Love is a student in the MBA program at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2007 with a BA in American Studies. After graduating she worked for Safe Passage, an education-based NGO in Guatemala City, where she directed a literacy program and launched a social enterprise with women living in the slums surrounding a landfill.  After returning to the US, she worked as a Development Director for Safe Passage’s US office, and then moved to North Carolina to work for Self-Help Credit Union’s Home Lending team. This summer she researched Village Savings and Loan Associations in Uganda. She plans to continue a career in community economic development after business school. She is currently working on Strategic Economic Growth initiatives as a Kenan Institute Economic Development Analyst (KIEDA).
