Marwen Zrida is a 2nd year PhD from Tunisia and is currently a student in Operations Research at North Carolina State University. His research focus ranges from applying mathematical tools in public policy issues to tackling financial math problems. Marwen obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Tunis Business school where he studied Business administration. Before coming to the US to obtain his Master’s in Operations Research and pursue his PhD, Marwen had the chance to work within a USAID project implemented in Tunisia in order to boost employment and improve the education system in his country. Marwen enjoys playing soccer, tennis and hanging out with his friends during his spare time.
